Crescent is intended for a mature audience and is not appropriate for listeners under 17 years of age. Listener discretion is strongly advised.

Some places are far darker than deep space. Places where the shadows smile. Where men go mad and lovers go missing. Where reality is stretched thin and something hungry is waiting just outside the corner of your eye.

Turn out the lights, take a deep breath, and dare to visit one of these places.

Crescent is dark science fiction at it's most visceral. Phil Rossi weaves a tale that is reminiscent of old school Stephen King but with a shiny, new set of tricks and an appetite to terrify. There's sex. There's corruption. There's horror. And after you sweat your way through the first chapter, there's plenty more to keep you awake at night.

Find out why Crescent is one of the fastest growing podcast novel sensations to date.

Crescent has been listed as "What's Hot" on the iTunes Music Store Homepage, a featured iTunes Literature podcast, in iTunes Top 25 Literature Podcasts, in the Podiobooks Top 10, as well as appeared in the Loudoun Times, in On Tap Magazine, on Dragon Page Cover to Cover, Scott Sigler's Bloodcast and more.

Crescent Soundtrack Vol. 1
**Note to Non-US residents; I'm working diligently to provide digital distribution of the Soundtrack beyond these silly borders, stay tuned**

It’s with a great deal of joy and enthusiasm that I’m releasing the first volume of the Crescent Soundtrack today. As many of you know, the soundtrack/score for Crescent was composed by me during the production of the Crescent podcast. Many of the songs were written and recorded in complete parallel to the production of the specific episodes where the tunes were featured. It was a pretty fantastic experiment, if not a little much to chew at times. I figured I was getting so little sleep as it was (thanks to Crescent’s demanding production), why not deprive myself entirely and make Crescent a dual experience?

The Crescent Soundtrack represents a departure from the smoky, dark, and slightly Americana vibe that has been the hallmark of my song writing in recent years. (you can get a taste those tunes with an upcoming Spring and Summer releases, for more info go to visit PhilRossi.net).

The Crescent Soundtrack will be released in multiple volumes. Volume one is live today and can be purchased from the following spots:

Show Sigler some love

Let's rally it up for Sigler, even though he is a little bitch that smells like flowers. Show Scott a little love. I'm not responsible if he tries for a reach around.

Infected's release is fast approaching, kiddies. April 1st. That's Tuesday. I've preordered my copy. Have you?

I lifted the following from Podiobooks.com.

------

Crown Publishing is letting Scott Sigler give away the PDF of INFECTED from March 27 through March 31, leading up to the hardcover in-store release on April 1. So download it! Feel free to email the link to anyone you know.

Get INFECTED yourself! Grab your copy of the PDF NOW!

Please do not email the PDF, email the LINK. This is so Scott can prove to Crown the value in giving away content, and if your friends click on the link, that counts on their server stats - emailing the PDF doesn't count on the stats.

Infected is the first major print release from Internet phenom Scott Sigler, whose podcast-only audiobooks have drawn an immense cult following, with more than three million individual episodes downloaded. Now Sigler storms the bookstore shelves with this cinematic, relentlessly paced novel that mixes and matches genres, combining horror, technothriller, and suspense in a heady mix that is equal parts Chuck Palahniuk, Michael Crichton, and Stephen King.

Infected will crawl beneath your skin and leave fresh blood on every page.

A fine parody indeed
I have much love for genuine people.

Christiana Ellis is one of those fantastic people who was (and still is, I hope) a big supporter of Crescent. Prior the Crescent's release, she assembled an all-star cast and made a parody of the Vignettes series that was wholly entertaining. I imagine a lot of you new (er) to the dance might not have had the chance to hear this, as in the end I never got around to finding it a good home--and shame on me.

Croissant Station

Thanks again, Christiana.

If you people haven't checked out Space Casey, what the hell are you waiting for?

Loudoun Times Article
The serialization of novels, like the ones Charles Dickens used to do, have gone the way of general interest magazines and polio. When one trend dies, another is usually right on its heels. However, in this case it took a few decades.

With the popularity of television came the decline of periodicals and their seemingly endless number of blank pages that needed filling. Then the Internet popped up and provided writers, both rookie and veteran alike, with all the blank pages they could dream of.

Phil Rossi has not gotten his book “Crescent” published, but thousands of people have already listened to it.

The Crescent botanical garden was housed in an expansive atrium filled with vibrant, green foliage. Artificial sunlight leaked around thick, obscuring leaves of rubber tree plants that reached all the way to the glass ceiling.
